Passover or Pesach begins on the evening of April 22. The holiday, one of the key events in the Jewish Calendar has many symbols (See the image of the Passover Plate)which we will explain and talk about during our Passover Seder scheduled for Friday, 22 April at the Synagogue. We will share the Passover story, involve the children in lively discussion and have a wonderful meal prepared by members of Adas Israel. You can make reservations by calling Alan Steckman the president of Adas Israel at 641-420-7251.
To help you better understand what Pesach is all about and the meaning of going from slavery to freedom I hope you'll listen to this audio portion. We'll cover all of this in depth on Friday evening.
