Passover is just around the corner and the Board of Adas Israel, the Jewish Congregation of Mason City, has decided to hold a Community Seder to celebrate the holiday. The traditional Seder will take place on Saturday evening 15 April starting at about 5:30pm and will be held at the synagogue.
What can you expect?
If you have never been to a traditional Passover Seder you have missed an amazing story of freedom. We'll fully explain what Passover or Pesach is and what it means, we'll drink the traditional four cups of wine (or grape juice should you wish), have a kosher meal, sing some songs and have a great evening of fellowship.
We're asking that, if you are interested, to make your reservations quickly so we can prepare an amazing feast in honor of Passover. Call Alan Steckman at 641-424-9362 and leave your name, number and how many people are coming. Should you wish you can also send an email to Michael Libbie by clicking this link.
The congregation is requesting $30 per person attending those under the age of 13 are $18 dollars each.
Come and experience a traditional Passover Seder...you'll not only have a great time but you will learn so much!
See you in Shul!
